The woot today is an Apple MC540LL/A 8GB iPod touch w/ FaceTime, Retina Display, HD Video Recording, 802.11n, Bluetooth. It's refurbished, so be careful. The best part of it is that it does pretty much everything. But don't forget, you can probably renew your cell phone contract and get an android phone that has all the same capabilities and more for the same price or less (possibly free). I'm just sayin. But that fact of the matter is that the Apple MC540LL/A 8GB iPod touch is a great product. Solid reviews.

... So, it's a refurbished Apple MB528LL/A 8GB 2nd Generation iPod Touch. Probably worth it if you haven't gotten one yet. I've already got a nice iPod touch, but you should look into this one if you're into it. Actually, this is probably the first woot-ish woot I can remember seeing wooted in a long time. Well done.

p.s. the sellout.woot is super retro and cool. It's a sweet looking MyVu Shades views for ipod and it's like wearing virtual reality goggles and here are some reviews on amazon. Also, it's been wooted in the past. Search this blog for "MyVu" to see the past listings (or just click that - same diff).

Gemalto YuuWaa HWP117528B 8GB USB Flash Drive with 50GB Online Storage

The woot for today is a Gemalto YuuWaa HWP117528B 8GB USB Flash Drive with 50GB Online Storage. I have never ever EVER heard of that. If anyone of you have, I'd love to know where you've seen it. But anyways, it IS real cheap. Only $13. But don't think that just because woot is wooting a deal like this YuuWaa 8GB USB Flash Drive with 50GB Online Storage for $12.99 doesn't mean you can't get something similar for not much more. Just a quick amazon search and I found a SanDisk Cruzer Micro 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive SDCZ6-8192-A11 for $15 or a HP v100w 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive P-FD8GBHP100-EF for $17. So, lots of brand names out there for reasonably similar prices. And as far as the 50gb online storage goes... eh. I don't know how reliable this company is. Plus, I'd never use it anyways.

p.s. they have the Gemalto HWP117540A 4GB USB Flash Drive today over at sellout.woot too. Same situation applies but this time it's a Gemalto 4GB USB Flash Drive with 20GB Free Storage and it's only $7.99.

...Apple MC086LL/A 8GB Gen 3 iPod Touch. I know you're worried about this one because it's a refurb. But really, you shouldn't. This is a solid product. Amazing reviews (probably the best average review score I've ever seen for a product with such a high volume of reviews). And a real good price. Seriously. If you need an mp3 player - maybe for your workout, or your bus/train ride, or your car - you're not going to find a better opportunity than this deal.

Plus, how can you not love an MP3 player that has an FM tuner AND is presented along side Star Wars Legos. That's the stuff. I know you agree.
